This picture was taken when I was in the Ape Center at Zoo Negara sometime ago. There were three orangutans resting on the trees.I noticed that this orangutan is old and has a large, bulky body, a thick neck, very long, strong arms, short, bowed legs, and no tail. The orangutans are mostly covered with long reddish-brown hair.
